AIC restoring a Jaguar XK120 with partners CCCR
Advanced Insurance Consultants Ltd (AIC) is proud to announce the launch of an exciting and historic event in restoring its own 1951 Jaguar XK120 OTS, as part of it’s commitment to the Classic Car insurance industry.
Partnership
Partnered with Cotsworld Classic Car Restorations Ltd (CCCR) who will undertake the bare metal, nut and bolt restoration starting immediately, these two companies are like minded and working closely together to achieve their goals.
Director of AIC (Chris Metcalfe) states ‘We are proud to be involved in such a project with CCCR, which not only preserves an important historical vehicle, but also immerses our company and its staff further into the Classic Car Insurance Industry, giving everyone a better understanding of this diverse and fun marketplace.
Having seen first-hand the quality of work carried out by Jonathan and his team at CCCR, I have no doubt the results will be exceptional, and I very much look forward to seeing the vehicle going through its stages of recovery and finish’.
Showcased from start to finish
The project is scheduled to take some 4-6 months and will be showcased from start to finish with weekly blogs and videos, which hopes to detail the painstaking work involved in such a restoration.
It is no coincidence that this vehicle restoration project is launched at the same time as AIC’s new Classic Car insurance quote engine build is being finalised, offering a truly up-to-date quote and buy solution to it’s customers.
New online solution
This new online solution will also be made available as a wholesale offering to Car Clubs and the like, and everyone involved is hopeful testing should be complete in time for the Jaguar’s build completion.
